The Ratti Chhatr Scholarship 2024-25, an initiative by Panasonic Life Solutions India (PLSIND), aims to support students from low-income families in pursuing higher education. This scholarship offers financial assistance of ₹70,250 per year for four years to students admitted to B.E./B.Tech. courses at any Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), helping to cover their tuition fees.
As a socially responsible corporation, Panasonic is committed to promoting inclusive growth and societal development. In line with this objective, the company launched the Ratti Chhatr Scholarship Program to identify and support talented youth who have the potential to become future leaders of the country. Initiated in 2009, this scholarship aims to provide equal opportunities and access to education for underprivileged students.
Eligibility :
- Students who have cleared the entrance test for B.E./B.Tech. courses at any of the IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) in 2024-25 are eligible.
- Students must have cleared their Class 12 examination with more than 75%. In case the students are awaiting their results, the application can be processed provisionally.
- The applicant's annual family income must not be more than INR 8,00,000 from all sources.
- Open to pan-India students.
- Only candidates from the 2024-25 batch are eligible to apply.
- Children of employees of Buddy4Study and Panasonic are not eligible.
NOTE:
Preference will be given to candidates belonging to Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category.
Students must have an admission letter and first-semester fee receipt to be eligible for this scholarship.

- Marksheet of Class 12 (2023-24)
- A government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar card/voter identity card/driving license/PAN card)
- Admission letter
- First-semester fee receipt
- Bank account details of the applicant
- Income proof (Form 16A/income certificate from government authority/salary slips, etc.)
- Photograph of the applicant.
