 Kotak Life Insurance Scholarship Program 2024-25 | For First Year Arts College Students | Upto 30,000 Scholarship Amount.

The Kotak Life Insurance Scholarship Program 2024-25 is an initiative by Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company Ltd. to provide financial assistance to students from Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra to help them continue their higher education.

Under this scholarship program, students from Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra who are currently studying in the first year of a B.Com. course at eight specified colleges will receive a scholarship of up to INR 30,000 per year to cover their academic expenses.

Eligibility :-
  • Open to students who are residents of Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in the first year of a B.Com. program at any of the eight specified colleges in Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra. The list of colleges is given below:
  1. A. Veeriya Memorial Sri Pushpam College (Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu)
  2. Nadar Mahajana Sangam S. Vellaichamy Nadar College (Madurai, Tamil Nadu)
  3. Edayathangudy G.S. Pillay Arts and Science College (Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu)
  4. Jai Hind Sindhu Education Trust's Manghanmal Udharam College of Commerce (Pune, Maharashtra)
  5. Gokhale Education Society's B.Y.K. (Sinnar) College of Commerce (Nashik, Maharashtra)
  6. LRD and SRP College for Women (Nagpur, Maharashtra)
  7. Vysya Arts and Science College (Salem, Tamil Nadu)
  8. Dharmapuram Adhinam Arts College (Mayiladuthurai, Tamil Nadu) 
  9. Applicants must have scored 65% marks or more in Classes 10 and 12.
  10. Applicants must have passed Class 12 in the year 2023–24.
  11. The applicant’s annual family income must be INR 3,60,000 or less.

Note:  Children of employees of Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company Limited and Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply.

Benefits :
Up to INR 30,000 per year for three years to cover the academic expenses.

Documents :-
The applicants are required to attach the following documents:
  • Classes 10 and 12 mark sheets and passing certificates
  • A government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar card/ voter ID card/driving license/PAN card)
  • Current year admission proof (fee receipt/admission letter)
  • Student ID card or bonafide certificate issued by the institution
  • Income proof (Form 16A, income certificate from government authority, salary slips, etc.)
  • Bank account details of the applicant (Bank passbook/cancelled cheque)
  • Recent passport-size photograph.
